National Take Back
On Saturday, October 23rd, the Police Department will be accepting expired, unused and unwanted prescription or over the counter drugs, no questions asked. Due to the risk of injury to handlers, syringes, epi-pens or other injectable devices are not accepted. Stop by Alamo Heights City Hall, 6116 Broadway, East Entrance, during the hours of 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Fall Haul-Off
Our annual Fall Haul-Off will be Saturday, October 16, 2020. It begins at 7:00 AM, and we usually finish by 10:00 AM, so you need to have your things out early.
Please remember these guidelines when gathering your items:
- no items weighing more than 40 lbs
- no building materials, including lumber, concrete or sheetrock
- no paint, unless cans are empty
- no pesticides, no motor oils
- no tires
- no bags of leaves
- nothing containing Freon
All items must be at curbside by 7:00 A.M.
In the event of heavy rain, the alternate date will be Saturday, October 23rd. Light rain or drizzle will not cancel the haul-off.
